Metroflor's state-of-the-art finish FX3 improves Surface Protection by a factor of 3
The FX3 Surface Protectant™ is a standard finish on Engage Genesis products and Metroflor LVT Dry Back products. The “3” in FX3 stands for the 3 new performance enhancements: Abrasion Resistance, Stain Repellency, and Mold Defense. To combat scratching and prevent staining, the FX3 Surface Protectant™ has an advanced polymer finish. Moisture can get trapped under the surface of the floor, making it a perfect breeding ground for mold and mildew. The new FX3’s doesn’t only protect the surface from mold and mildew but protects the attached IXPE underlayment as well. The Ultra_fresh treatment is infused into the FX3 Surface Protectant™ to prevent odor and stain causing mold and mildew. This flooring is great for families with pets and children.

Installation
Shaw Carpet tile can be installed with pressure sensitive adhesive or LokDots.
LokDots
LokDots are a revolutionary pressure sensitive adhesive to install EcoWorx carpet tile. This non-toxic, odorless system creates an alternative to wet adhesives. It eliminates the issue of Violative Organic Compounds (VOC’s) and creating an easy way to install carpet tile. Perfect for the DIY home projects. LokDots can be installed over concrete, VCT,VAT,cutback raised access floors, pressure sensitive and multipurpose adhesive and wood. They are lightweight and easy to store. A Half sleeve of LokDots can install 125 yards of carpet tile which means only 15 dots are needed per 24x24 tile. A 35 pound bucket of adhesive can apply the same amount of carpet as 1.1 LokDots. Glues can be messy with curing times and odors but LokDots have no mess, no curing time and no odors. The carpet can be walked on immediately after being installed. The use of LokDots can reduce 97% of installation materials compared to a traditional adhesive.
Removal
LokDots are easy to apply and just as easy to remove. There is no need for scraping or sanding to remove.
