What to expectHow it works
Flooring isn't like a small parcel that ships the same day and pings you with tracking an hour later. Most orders travel a few steps before they reach you — and we keep you in the loop along the way. Here's what's happening behind the scenes.
For freight shipmentsThe journey to your door
Many products — like Mohawk and Mannington — ship from the manufacturer to our main 265,000 sq ft facility in Columbus, OH, where they're inspected and packaged properly for safe delivery to your home or business.

Heading to us
Your order leaves the manufacturer and travels to our Columbus facility. It's on the move — but there's no tracking number at this stage yet.

2
Inspected & packaged
When it arrives, our team inspects your flooring and packages it properly so it gets to you in great shape.

We text you first
Before we hand your order to the final freight carrier, we send you a text message to make sure you're ready to receive it. We don't want to deliver a freight shipment to an empty house — say, if you're out of town on vacation.

On its way — with tracking
Once your order is loaded onto the final freight carrier (like FedEx Freight), a tracking number is emailed to you so you can follow it the rest of the way.
No tracking number yet? That's normal.
If you don't have a tracking number, it doesn't mean nothing is happening. While your order is in transit from the manufacturer to us (Steps 1–2), it's moving — a tracking number simply isn't available until it's loaded onto the final carrier in Step 4.
Smaller items and samples may ship by standard parcel carrier (like UPS or FedEx Ground) instead of freight. For those, tracking is provided as soon as they leave our facility — so the freight steps above won't apply.
