Mapei Ultrabond ECO 995 Premium Moisture-Control Wood Flooring Adhesive

Ultrabond ECO 995 is Mapei's premium, 100%-solids urethane adhesive built to do three jobs in one coat: bond wood flooring, control moisture vapor emission from concrete slabs, and cut down sound transmission between floors. That single-coat approach means no separate moisture barrier step — install faster and skip a product.

Works with solid and engineered wood (any species, any width or length), bamboo, finger block parquet, acrylic-impregnated wood, laminated plank, and cork or reground rubber underlayments. Bonds to concrete (14+ days cured), cement terrazzo, exterior-grade plywood, abraded ceramic tile, cement-based self-leveling underlayments, Mapei epoxy moisture barriers, primed gypsum underlayments, and radiant-heat systems.

Low-odor, negligible VOC, made with rapidly renewable raw materials. Trowels easily with strong ridge holdout, so adhesive stays where you put it. Backed by Mapei's lifetime bond performance warranty.

Note: moisture-barrier properties only apply over concrete — not over wood, gypsum, or radiant-heat substrates (use Traditional Installation Method for those). Cures hard and is difficult to remove once set, so clean tools and flooring surfaces with Ultrabond Urethane Cleaner while adhesive is still wet.

Does this replace a separate moisture barrier?
Yes — over concrete slabs, one coat handles bonding and moisture vapor control together.

Can I use it over radiant heat or gypsum underlayment?
Yes, but moisture-barrier properties don't apply in those cases. Use the Traditional Installation Method.

What if I get adhesive on the flooring surface?
Wipe it immediately with Ultrabond Urethane Cleaner. Once cured, it's very hard to remove.

Does it work with engineered and exotic wood?
Yes — approved for solid, engineered, and exotic wood species of any width or length, plus bamboo and parquet.
