Tile Collection Pietra Di Ostuni 16x24 Field Matte Tile Avorio

Pietra Di Ostuni brings the soft, elegant look of natural travertine to a durable porcelain tile, with subtle variations in shade and texture that mimic the real stone's natural character. The Avorio colorway offers a delicate, warm ivory tone that complements a wide range of design styles, from rustic to modern minimalist.

Made in Italy, this large-format 16x24 field tile pairs with other sizes in the Avorio line — including 16x16, 8x16, 8x8, Trame decorative, and 1x1 mosaic — for a cohesive, mixed-format installation. Frost-resistant and suitable for both residential and commercial applications.

Typical Pietra Di Ostuni orders ship within 1 to 2 weeks. Stock shortages may occasionally extend lead times. Please reach out if you would like to confirm availability or estimated shipping timelines.

Does this larger 16x24 size need a different mortar than the 16x16?
Since any tile dimension over 15" qualifies as large-format, this size requires a large-and-heavy-tile mortar rather than a standard thin-set — the same requirement as the 16x16 size in this collection.

Does the larger format mean fewer grout lines across a room?
Yes — the 16x24 size covers more area per piece than the 16x16 or 8x16, resulting in fewer seams across a given floor or wall.

What other sizes pair with this 16x24 in the same Avorio colorway?
16x16, 8x16, 8x8, a Trame decorative 8x8, and a 1x1 mosaic — all in Avorio, giving flexibility to mix formats within one cohesive installation.

Is this tile suitable for a floor in a wet area, like a bathroom?
Yes — its DCOF rating of 0.78 provides strong slip resistance, well above the 0.42 minimum typically recommended for wet floor areas.
