Mapei Ultrabond ECO 373
Mapei Ultrabond ECO 373 Universal Pressure-Sensitive Flooring Adhesive — 1 Gallon / 4 Gallon
Mapei Ultrabond ECO 373 is a super-aggressive, pressure-sensitive adhesive designed for the installation of a wide variety of resilient flooring types. It's the go-to for LVP, LVT, sheet vinyl, VCT, and flash-cove installations where you need strong initial grab and a long window to work.
The formula provides 15–30 minutes of flash time and up to 12 hours of working time, making it practical for large commercial floors and complex layouts. It can be applied by trowel or roller depending on the level of tack required for the flooring being installed. Trowel application delivers maximum grab; roller application gives a lighter, more open tack for flooring that needs a bit of repositionability.
Available in 1-gallon and 4-gallon sizes. The 1-gallon suits smaller residential installs and repairs; the 4-gallon is the better value for commercial floors and full-room installations.

What flooring types can Ultrabond ECO 373 be used with? LVP, LVT, sheet vinyl, VCT, and most resilient flooring. It also works for flash-cove installations using traditional methods.
Can I apply it with a roller instead of a trowel? Yes. Roller application gives a lighter tack, which works well for flooring that benefits from some repositionability. Trowel application gives a more aggressive bond. Use the method that matches the flooring manufacturer's recommendation.
How long do I have to work with it after spreading? Flash time is 15–30 minutes. Once flashed, working time extends up to 12 hours, so you can spread a large area and still have plenty of time to lay the flooring.
Which size should I buy? The 1-gallon covers approximately 125–245 sq. ft. and is practical for single rooms or repair work. The 4-gallon is the better value for commercial projects or whole-floor installations.
Is it low-VOC and safe for occupied spaces? Yes — under 10 g/L VOC, SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certified, and Red List Material Free. Suitable for schools, healthcare, and other sensitive interior environments.
Can I use it over existing adhesive residue? No. Do not apply over any adhesive residues, including cutback adhesive. Substrate must be clean, flat, and free of contaminants.
Does it work over concrete with high pH? No. Do not use on concrete slabs with a pH of 12 or higher.
Is mixing required? No — ready to use straight from the pail.
