Woodura Herringbone 3.0 Classic is Bjelin's hardened wood herringbone floor in a traditional, finely detailed format — a real, FSC-certified European oak surface pressed and fused onto a stable Välinge Compositek core, making it up to three times more impact resistant than standard engineered hardwood. A Class 33 Pro Matte finish keeps a natural, low-sheen look while standing up to busy homes as well as offices, shops, and restaurants.

The Classic format uses smaller 13.2" x 2.7" blocks for the traditional herringbone look. Every block has a sharp, unbevelled edge, so the finished floor reads like traditionally laid parquet rather than a click floor.

Installation is glue-free with the leak-proof Välinge 5G Dry click system — watertight joints with no glue, nails, or sealants needed. Each order ships as two boxes, A and B, containing the left- and right-hand blocks needed to complete the herringbone pattern. High water resistance and radiant heat approved. Bjelin recommends ordering at least 20% extra for herringbone layouts.

Why does this ship as two boxes instead of one?
A herringbone pattern needs both left- and right-hand angled blocks to interlock correctly — Box A and Box B each contain one of the two, and both are required to complete the layout.

Do I need to order both A and B boxes separately?
No — they're sold and shipped together as a matched set. Each individual box covers 5.92 Sq. Ft.; the complete A+B set covers 11.84 Sq. Ft. total.

How much extra should I order for a herringbone layout?
Bjelin recommends ordering at least 20% extra to account for the angled cuts a herringbone pattern requires.

Does this need glue or nails to install?
No — it uses the Välinge 5G Dry click locking system, a floating, glue-free installation with watertight joints.
