The Bjelin Stair Nose for Closed Staircases gives Woodura Planks 3.0 (S, M, L formats) a clean, precise finish at the stair edge. Crafted from solid oak with a matte finish, stained to match Earth Grey, it installs using the pre-existing groove in the plank — glued securely into place for a seamless transition from floor to stair.

Available in two lengths to fit a range of staircase widths.

Important: this trim piece must be purchased alongside the corresponding Woodura Planks 3.0 flooring — orders for trim alone will be canceled.

Is this for open or closed staircases?
Closed staircases only — this piece is designed for stairs with a riser (no open gap below the tread). Bjelin offers a separate stair nose for open staircases.

How is this installed?
It uses the pre-existing groove milled into the plank and is glued securely into place at the stair edge.

Which length do I need?
Both 39.4" and 55.1" lengths are available — choose based on your staircase width, or stock both for different project sizes.

Is this solid wood or veneer?
Solid oak — unlike the T-Molding and Reducer trim pieces, which use an oak veneer over an engineered core, this stair nose is solid wood throughout.
