Mapei MapeLevel Easy Spacer L-I

The MapeLevel Easy Spacer L-I is the linear screw spacer for Mapei's MapeLevel Easy tile-leveling system, built to prevent lippage and deliver a perfectly flat floor or wall installation — including large-format tile. Choose the L-I linear shape for straight-line grout joints, such as running bond or brick-pattern layouts where tiles meet edge-to-edge in a straight row rather than a T or X intersection.

Works with the MapeLevel Easy Cap (sold separately) — the cap screws down the spacer's quick-thread design, tightening until the tile reaches the level needed. No additional tools required; the whole system installs and removes by hand.

Designed to break off cleanly just below the tile surface for fast, precise removal after mortar cures. Suitable for tiles from 1/8" to 3/4" (3–21 mm) thick.

When should I use L-I instead of L-T? Use L-I for straight-line joints, like running bond or brick-pattern layouts where tiles meet edge-to-edge in a row rather than at a T or four-corner intersection.

Do I need the cap separately? Yes — the MapeLevel Easy Cap is sold separately and is required to complete the leveling system. The same cap works with all three spacer shapes.

What grout joint widths does this support? 1mm to 5mm, depending on the thickness you choose. For wider joints, use a Mapei Tile Spacer alongside the system.

Is this the same as the EasyClick spacer? No — this is the threaded/screw-down version of the system. EasyClick uses a squeeze-button cap instead of a screw thread.
