Mapei Self Leveling Spike Roller 2x20
Mapei Self-Leveling Spike Roller, 2" x 20"
The Mapei Self-Leveling Spike Roller is a purpose-built tool for working with cement- and gypsum-based self-leveling underlayments and toppings. Roll it through freshly poured material to release trapped air bubbles and knock down surface imperfections before the product sets.
The 2" spikes are long enough to reach through deep pours, and their shape is designed to cut through the material cleanly, leaving a smoother, more consistent surface than working by hand. At 20" wide, it covers ground fast on larger pours — no need to inch across a room in narrow passes.
Works with the full line of Mapei self-leveling underlayments, including Novoplan, Planiplan, Ultraplan, and Self-Leveler Plus products.

Does this come with a handle? No — this is the roller head only. A standard threaded extension pole/handle is needed separately.
Why do I need to roll self-leveler instead of just pouring it? Rolling with a spike roller releases air bubbles trapped in the pour and helps the material settle into a smoother, more even surface as it self-levels.
How soon after pouring do I need to roll it? Roll shortly after pouring, while the material is still workable — check the specific self-leveler's technical data sheet for exact working-time windows.
Can I use this with any self-leveling product? Yes — it's designed to work with Mapei's full self-leveling underlayment and topping line.
