Mapei UltraCare Cement Grout Haze Remover

UltraCare Cement Grout Haze Remover is a professional-strength, acidic formula built to remove cement grout haze from tile, concrete, and stone surfaces after installation. Water-based, low-odor, and nonflammable — an easier cleanup process than most acidic haze removers.

Rated for most acid-resistant natural stone, including slate and granite, plus ceramic and porcelain tile. Because it's acidic, it will etch polished marble and limestone, and can lighten the color of cementitious materials — so surface compatibility matters here more than with a neutral cleaner.

Important: don't let the product dry on the surface. Keep it wet throughout application, adding more product as needed, then agitate with a soft brush or white scrub pad (test first to confirm it won't scratch). This is a different product from Epoxy Grout Haze Remover — use this one specifically for cement grout haze, not epoxy.

Can I use this on marble? Not polished marble — the acidic formula will etch it. Stick to acid-resistant stone like slate or granite, and always test first.

Is this the same as Epoxy Grout Haze Remover? No — this one targets cement grout haze. For epoxy grout haze, use UltraCare Epoxy Grout Haze Remover instead.

What happens if it dries on the surface? Don't let it dry — keep the surface wet with additional product throughout application to avoid surface damage.
