Not a standalone sealer on its own; think of it as sealer maintenance built into a daily cleaner.

Powerful enough to dissolve grease and grime, and ideal for kitchen and bathroom countertops and backsplashes. Non-acidic, so it's safe for regular use on natural stone, grout, and tile.

Vinegar and bleach are common instincts for grout cleaning, but both come with tradeoffs — vinegar can etch stone like marble or travertine, and both can discolor and weaken grout with regular use. This is Mapei's recommended everyday alternative for countertops and backsplashes specifically.

Is it safe on marble countertops? Yes — it's non-acidic, so it won't etch marble or other natural stone the way vinegar can.
