UltraCare Grout Release is a high-performance sacrificial coating that protects tile and stone surfaces from grout stains during installation. Improves cleanability and cuts down the risk of grout haze or film residue left behind after grouting.

Water-based and ready to use — shake and apply, no mixing. Works on all natural stone (marble, limestone, sandstone, slate, granite, travertine), porcelain and ceramic tile, masonry, and quarry tile, for both interior and exterior applications. Performs well on textured and rough surfaces where haze is hardest to clean off.

Unlike a sealer, Grout Release is designed to wash away during the grouting process — it doesn't provide ongoing protection after grouting, just a clean install. It won't affect grout adhesion to the tile. For lasting protection after the job's done, that's a job for a sealer instead (UltraCare Penetrating Plus).

Does this stay on the tile after grouting? No — it's designed to wash away during the grouting process. For lasting protection after the job, use a sealer instead.

Will it weaken the grout bond? No — UltraCare Grout Release doesn't affect grout adhesion to the tile.

What surface prep does it need? Clean the surface first with an UltraCare cleaner and let it dry completely before applying.

Can I use it with any grout type? It's suitable for cementitious grouts only.
