Penetrating Plus SB is a premium, natural-look, solvent-based penetrating sealer that uses VOC-exempt materials while still delivering maximum protection against everyday stains. Same premium performance tier as the water-based Penetrating Plus, but built on a solvent carrier for jobs where that's the better fit.

Protects all interior and exterior natural stone (marble, limestone, sandstone, slate, granite, travertine, and more), porcelain and ceramic tile, masonry, quarry tile, and cement grout. Also works as a pre-grouting sealer on porous surfaces. Unlike a grout release — which washes away during grouting and leaves no lasting protection — this sealer stays in the surface, protecting long after the job's done.

Shake well before use, and always test in an inconspicuous area first, waiting 12 hours to check results before full application.

How is this different from the standard Penetrating Plus sealer? This version is solvent-based instead of water-based, using VOC-exempt materials — same premium protection tier, different carrier.

Does this replace a grout release during installation? No — a grout release washes away during grouting. This sealer stays in the surface and keeps protecting after the job is finished.

Can I use it on porcelain tile? Yes — it's specifically formulated for porcelain and ceramic tile in addition to natural stone and grout.

Is it safe for exterior use? Yes — approved for interior and exterior natural stone, tile, masonry, and grout applications.
