Tile Collection Classic 18x18 Tile Calacatta Matte

Tile Collection Classic 18x18 Tile Calacatta Matte

The Classic Collection delivers timeless marble-look elegance in a durable, low-maintenance porcelain tile. This Calacatta colorway captures the classic white-and-gold veining of Italian marble, well suited to bathrooms, kitchen floors, laundry rooms, and living spaces.

At 8.7mm thick with slight (V2) shade variation, this tile offers a consistent, clean look across an installation. Frost-resistant and made in Turkey.

Is this tile suitable for a floor in a wet area, like a bathroom?
Yes — its DCOF rating of ≥0.50 provides solid slip resistance, above the 0.42 minimum typically recommended for wet floor areas.

How many pieces come in a box, and how does that translate to square footage?
7 pieces per box at 18x18 — roughly 15.28 Sq. Ft. per box based on the tile's actual dimensions, though confirm the exact published coverage with your supplier before quoting.

Is there a recommended installation pattern for this size?
Yes — an offset pattern no greater than 33% is recommended, rather than a 50% running bond offset.

How does the 18x18 size compare to the 12x24 in this same colorway?
Both share the same construction, V2 variation, and DCOF rating — the 18x18 gives a more traditional square layout, while the 12x24 offers a modern rectangular format with fewer grout lines in one direction.
