Transcendence takes inspiration from heirloom hardwood, bringing warm tones and unique grain patterns to a hickory floor with real vintage character. Reactive staining interacts with the wood's natural tannins during finishing — each plank undergoes an elegant transformation, capturing the vintage essence of treasured hardwood rather than a uniform, factory-stained look.
Extremely high color variation between planks is part of the design, not a defect — every board is one of a kind, giving the floor a collected-over-time feel rather than a manufactured one. Wire-brushed texture and a durable UV Aluminum Oxide finish protect the surface while preserving the tactile, natural grain.
Engineered construction supports installation at any grade level — above, on, or below — using nail, staple, glue, or float methods. Third-party verified for safe indoor air quality. With each purchase, Anderson Tuftex plants a tree.
