WPC vs LVT
We will start with LVT. LVT stands for luxury vinyl tiles. Sometimes you will see LVP, this means luxury planks. LVT is made up of a vinyl or PVC or poly vinyl chloride. It is durable and can be installed in high moisture rooms.
WPC stands for Wood Plastic Composite. WPC has a wood plastic composite core. WPC can be a type of LTV but not all LVT are WPC. The difference is what they are made from.

Embossed In Register (EIR)
Embossed In Register flooring is a texture that helps make a flooring look and feel more like natural hardwood or stone. It is the indention, bumps, grooves or waves of the board. The image is pressed into the design layer and creates a three-dimensional design. EIR will give the floor a more authentic look.

Wear Layer Thickness
Keep these points in mind when looking for your next luxury vinyl floor. The thicker the wear layer the more durable the floor. A ware layer can range from 4 mil to 40 mil. A 12mil wear layer is normally what a busy household will have. 20mil is for a commercial building with high foot traffic.

Thickness
Thickness in a floor doesn’t only feel sturdier but it also has a function. The thickness can help if a subfloor is not level it will better hide imperfections (if a subfloor is completely unlevel, it will need to be leveled before installing any floor). It will also help dampen sound. A thicker floor will be more comfortable to stand on.
